When you support North Shore Community Action Programs (NSCAP), you are making a direct impact on the lives of those living in poverty. Every dollar that is donated to NSCAP goes into funding the various programs NSCAP offers that empower low-income families to achieve self-sufficiency.

About NSCAP

North Shore Community Action Programs, Inc. (North Shore CAP) is a private nonprofit organization providing social services that enable low-income families and individuals to obtain the skills and knowledge they need to become economically self-sufficient, civically engaged, and to live in dignity and decency.

Last year, North Shore CAP assisted 9,194 low-income individuals to achieve economic and social stability through programs such as energy services, fuel assistance, home health services, adult education classes, workforce readiness, and housing and homelessness prevention. North Shore Community Action Programs’ (NSCAP) service area is within the central region of Essex County, Massachusetts. This area contains a population of 202,347 with 17,889 living below the poverty line.
